Capitalizing on the popularity of the Deer Hunter series, developer Sunstorm presents Deer Hunter Screen Saver, featuring two themes that require Microsoft Windows Plus! for Windows 95 or Microsoft Windows Plus! for Windows 98 for installation. The "Blaze Orange Theme" consists of desktop colors, backgrounds, icons and sounds, with a hunter's orange color scheme, while the "Camo Theme" includes the same utilities using colors, backgrounds, icons, and sounds taken directly from Deer Hunter: Interactive Hunting Experience.
In addition to the themes, Deer Hunter Screen Saver includes screen saver images from both Deer Hunter: Interactive Hunting Experience and its expansion, Deer Hunter's Extended Season, as well as ten new maps with unique and realistic terrain layouts. Enhancements to the Map Editor from Extended Season have been included that can be used on the new maps as well as on existing maps from previous titles. As an added bonus, players with prize bucks saved in their Trophy Room can also add those images to the screen saver pack.
